The National Board of Review revealed their winners on Tuesday afternoon, surprising the film world yet again with their picks. Like last year when the group award A Most Violent year with the top prize, a win no one saw coming, the organization made another unsuspecting choice for Best Film - Mad Max: Fury Road.
You see, when a male Xenomorph and a Queen Xenomorph love each other very, very much… Hopefully Ridley Scott will have a more eloquent explanation for the origins of the terrifying aliens designed by H.R. Giger, as the director has revealed that his Prometheus sequels will shine some light on where the mysterious creatures come from. Scott will have some additional assistance in that regard, as Spectre writer John Logan has come aboard to revise the screenplay for the sequel.

Ridley Scott must have a hankering to return to science fiction as he's in talks to direct 'The Martian' starring Matt Damon. This would then be the third science fiction film on his plate besides 'Prometheus 2' and 'Blade Runner 2.'
