A longtime educational staple in Rome, New York has reached a point of no return. This school first opened its doors back in 1963 as a high school located at 800 Cypress Street in the city. 61 years later the leadership of the school has announced that it's no longer possible to keep it operating.

Notre Dame Utica, including the elementary and high school, is planning to have all in-class learning five days a week.

A Healing Service for victims and survivors of clergy sexual abuse will be held Thursday night at 7:00 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church on Burrstone Road in New Hartford.

The Catholic Diocese of Syracuse released a list of living and deceased priests with credible allegations against them of abuse dating back to 1950.

A memorandum of understanding is now in place, signed by District Attorneys in the region and the Syracuse Roman Catholic Diocese concerning reports of sexual abuse of children by members of the clergy.
