Erin Hamlin is going back to the luge world championships, this time as a coach.

USA Luge is getting ready for its annual talent search.

Following the Winter Olympic Games in South Korea next year, Erin Hamlin will retire from the sport of Luge. The Remsen native made the announcement in Germany on Sunday after she qualified for her 4th Olympic USA Luge team.

USA Luge has announced its national team that will participate in the 2016-17 World Cup and World Championship season.

Her teammates were close behind, sweeping the medal podium for the first time in history with Emily Sweeney taking silver and Summer Britcher, bronze in Lake Placid over the weekend.

Remsen's Erin Hamlin, who won a bronze medal at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, won her sixth career United States title at the Norton USA Luge National Championship in Lake Placid on Sunday.
