While the craft beer craze is nationwide, the state of Michigan is putting the promotional muscle of their popular 'Pure Michigan' tourism campaign behind the state's breweries.

Utica on Tap took place at the Stanley Theater in Utica on Saturday March 22, 2014 for two sold out sessions to sample 95 different craft beers. Here are some of the photos of the event, including the one you see above from the catwalks over the Stanley World Stage filled with folks sampling great beers.

It was a sell-out crowd at Utica on Tap Saturday, at the Stanley Theater. Hundreds enjoyed over 95 craft beers. Thanks for making another successful event that will hopefully become a yearly tradition.  See photos from the day.

Brewery Ommegang will feature two of its most popular brews at Utica On Tap, Saturday March 22.

I'm not the biggest draft beer fan in the world, but once with no other choice, I picked Shock Top Beer.  I think the logo was what attracted me.  When it arrived with a slice of orange immersed in it, I was even more concerned, as I'm not big fan of fruit in my beer either.  Since that 1st sampling, I've been a huge fan.  Shock Top is one of the 95 beers that will be appearing at our Utica On Tap

The first annual Utica on Tap is happening this Saturday, March 22nd at the Stanley in Utica.

Several traditional Irish foods are frequently served on St. Patrick's Day: corned beef and cabbage, shepherd's pie and Pepto Bismol. Please add to that list the Beer Cream Puff.
