The Utica chapter of the Salvation Army officially kicked off its 2018 Red Kettle Campaign on Wednesday at the Oneida County Sheriff's Office in Oriskany.
The Utica Salvation Army is hoping to make up a shortfall in its Red Kettle Campaign this week.
Lt. Michael Harrington says the campaign has been stymied by snow and fewer bellringers.
