Albany, NY (WIBX) - Members of the Utica Police Department attended the Police Officers Memorial Service in Albany on Tuesday.

State officials and law enforcement officials from around the state gathered to honor 15 police officers who died in the line of duty or from 9-11 related illnesses.

Their names were added to the State Police Officers Memorial at the Empire State Plaza.

Nearly 1,300 officers are engraved on the Memorial Wall, including Utica Police Office Thomas Lindsey and New Hartford Police officer Joseph Corr.
