Verona Man Charged With Using Child In Sexual Performance

Marcy, NY (WIBX) - A month-long investigation by State Police and the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center has led to the arrest of a Verona man.

Authorities say 32-year old Brent Reader set up a fake Facebook account as way to meet high school aged children.

They say Reader had sexual contact with a child under the age of 17 he met on Facebook and recorded the encounter.

He was charged with using a child in a sexual performance and criminal sexual act.

Anyone else who may have had contact with Reader on Facebook is asked to call State Police in Marcy at 736-8002.
