West Leyden Man Facing Child Pornography Charges

A former Rome Free Academy Wrestling coach has been arrested on federal child pornography charges.

The U.S Attorney's Office says 38-year old Brian Mingo of Port Leyden allegedly distributed child porn through an internet file sharing program.

Authorities say in February, an undercover agent with Homeland Security downloaded over 100 files of child pornography that were being shared by Mingo through an online account.

Mingo faces 5 to 20 years in prison if convicted.

The Rome Sentinel reports Mingo was wrestling coach at RFA during the 2009-10 and 2013-14 seasons.
