Nick Swisher and Eric Chavez each drove in a run, and Freddy Garcia allowed just four hits against the Rangers in a 3-2 win in the Bronx on Wednesday night, winning for the seventh time in their last eight games.

Garcia (7-5) struck out six through 6 2/3 innings. His only real mistakes came against Josh Hamilton, who accounted for both Ranger runs with a pair of solo-homers.

Swisher drove in a run with an RBI double in the third, Curtis Granderson followed with a sac-fly to score Derek Jeter, then Eric Chavez drove in Swish later in the inning with one of his three singles on the night.

Rafeal Soriano struck out Hamilton to start the ninth, and worked about a throwing error from Chavez to earn his 29th save.

Scott Feldmen (6-8) was saddled with the loss, giving up three runs on seven hits through six innings.

The Yankees will look for the four game sweep in a Thursday matinee at 1:10 with Ivan Nova (11-6) pitching against Derek Holland (7-6).
