Utica, NY (WIBX) - Oneida County Court received more than $25,000 during a warrant sweep conducted this week.

Twenty-four people were taken into custody for failing to pay fines on felony DWI convictions during the most recent warrant sweep organized by the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.

From May to August of last year, the Oneida County District Attorney's Office offered a grace period for those deliquent on their fines. Warrants were issued for those who didn't settle their debts.

Anyone who still has oustanding fines is encouraged to contact the Oneida County Court Clerk's Office.

Fines can be mailed to: Oneida County Court, 200 Elizabeth Street, Utica, NY 13501. Or, paid in person at the Court Clerk's office on the fourth floor of the Oneida County Court Building.
