AHA Kids Walk On Saturday At Proctor

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Proctor High School is hosting the 11th annual Kids Walk this Saturday to help fight childhood obesity.

Sponsored by Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes, the event includes a one mile walk for both children and their parents, along with a Health and Risk Assessment Expo and bike raffle.

According to the American Heart Association, one in three children is overweight or obese, leading to a variety of diseases, including high blood pressure and diabetes.
