Carmelo Anthony scored 41 points and Amar'e Stoudemire had 20 points and 10 rebounds, playing with a stitched and wrapped hand, as the New York Knicks ended their playoff wins drought, beating the Heat 89-87 on Sunday at Madison Sqaure Garden.

New York snapped a 13-game postseason losing streak, an NBA record, and will look to make it a series with a Game 5 win on Wednesday night in Miami.

Lebron James; 27 points led the Heat, who hold a 3-1 series lead. Dwyane Wade had 22, but missed a would-be game-ending, series clinching, 3-pointer as time expired.

The Knicks will be without Baron Davis on Wednesday, after the point guard suffered a gruesome dislocation in his knee in the third quarter while driving down the floor on a fast break. Davis had to be taken off the court on a stretcher.
