(Sports Network) Flushing N.Y. The New York Mets announced today that they have agreed to sell a minority stake of the team to investor David Einhorn. Einhorn's investment in a minority, non-operating stake of the team is $200 Million and is subject to the negotiation of a mutually acceptable agreement and approval by Major League Baseball.
(WIBX950 Sports) Harmon Killebrew passed away Tuesday morning at his Scottsdale Arizona home, he was 74. Killebrew had been battling esophageal cancer, and he announced last week that his battle was coming to an end. Killebrew died peacefully, with his wife, Nita, and their family at his side. The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown remembers this great Hall of Famer.
