Boilermaker Paper Registrations Start Saturday

Utica, NY (WIBX) -  Nearly 2,500 runners have signed up for the 2011 15-k Boilermaker road race, and race officials haven't even begun accepting paper applications yet.

As of Monday, 2,428 runners had registered. Last year at this time, 740 runners had registered for the race, according to race officials.

There is a cap for the 15-k this year is 13,000.

Online registrations are being accepted at www.Boilermamer.com.

Paper applications will be available starting this Saturday at the Planet Fitness locations in New Hartford and Rome from 9 to noon.
