Boonville Elementary School Put On Lockdown After Live Ammo Found
Boonville Elementary School was put on lockdown this morning after live ammunition was found inside the school.
State Police say two live rounds of 22-caliber ammunition was found by staff members at the entrance to the gym.
State Police, assisted by Boonville Police and the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, conducted a search of the school.
No additional items of concern were discovered and police say there was no reported threat made to the school at any time.
