Snowmobile fans and professional racers by the thousands will be at the Boonville-Oneida County Fairgrounds all weekend long for the annual Boonville Snow Fest.

More than 300 racers are expected to compete for the prestigious Adirondack Cup (below).

Spokesman Mark Bourguise says the ice track races include vintage machines and 'outlaw sleds'.

"It's sort of a cross between a dirt modified car and a snowmobile. You're strapped in with a seat roll bar. [They have] 600cc motors and 135 horsepower."

Races are going on all day Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 9 a.m.
