The Utica Comets used a three-goal outburst in the opening 6:30 of the second period to snap their three game slide, hammering the Belleville Senators 7-1 at the Adirdonack Bank Center on Friday night.

Reid Boucher's first of two goals on the night came 2:26 in the second frame, a power play score that nicked off the post and into the net. Philip Holm scored 2:11 later, and Michael Chaput followed with another PP goal 1:47 after that to quickly put Belleville in a 3-0 hole.
