Governor Andrew Cuomo has directed that flags on all state government buildings be flown at half-staff on Tuesday in honor of fallen State Trooper Christopher Skinner.

Skinner was run down while making a traffic stop near Binghamton last week.

Cuomo says Skinner served his communities with the dedication and selflessness that embodies the New York State Police, and he will be greatly missed.

Skinner was a 13-year veteran of the State Police.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday in Johnson City.
