Syracuse, NY (WIBX) - The Syracuse defense held No. 25 Cincinnati to just 21 second half points and pulled away for a 67-52 victory at the Carrier Dome.  The No. 4 Orange  remain unblemished, improving to 18-0 and 5-0 in the Big East.

Rick Jackson poured in 15 pionts to go along with 11 rebounds to lead the Orange. Scoop Jardine and Brandon Triche added 11 each. Jardine also had seven assists.

The Bearcats' (16-2, 3-2 Big East) Dion Dixon lead all scorers with 18 points.

Up next for Syracuse, a huge game on the road against conference rival No. 5 Pittsburgh on Monday night. The Panthers are 17-1 and 5-0 in the Big East following Saturday's 74-53 victory over Seton Hall.
