R.A. Dickey moved to 4-1 with eight-plus innings of four hit, one run ball, helping the Mets take the rubber game against the Arizona Diamondbacks, 3-1 on Sunday afternoon at Citi Field.

Dickey pitched into the ninth, but gave up a walk and a double before manager Terry Collins pulled him from the game.

Tim Byrdak got an out and closer Frank Francisco got the next two, to earn his seventh save.

The Mets (15-13) open a series in Philadelphia on Monday night at 7:00.

New York got two runs in the first off of Trevor Cahill (2-3), on a Daniel Murphy single. Josh Thole had an RBI single in the fourth inning.
