Tim Byrdak got an out and closer Frank Francisco got the next two, to earn his seventh save.

The Mets (15-13) open a series in Philadelphia on Monday night at 7:00.

New York got two runs in the first off of Trevor Cahill (2-3), on a Daniel Murphy single. Josh Thole had an RBI single in the fourth inning.
