Two free emergency disaster preparedness classes will be held next week at the Utica Public Library on Genesee Street.

The two-hour program will be offered at 4:00 and again at 6:00 on Tuesday, January 5th.

The event is open to everyone and no advanced sign-up is required.

The classes are part of Governor Cuomo's continuing Citizen Preparedness Corps Training Program, which provides citizens with the knowledge and tools to prepare for emergencies and disasters and respond accordingly.
