Additional Information

41 years ago, former WIBX employee Ralph Allinger passed away from a heart attack. WIBX held a radiothon in his honor and a man from Barneveld decided to run from his home to the radio station to make his donation. It was from that act of generosity that the Heart Run and Walk was born. Such acts of generosity over the past 41 years has raised millions of dollars for research to find a cure for both heart disease and stroke.
