'He looks like a man who's never done anything for anyone but himself.'

Republican Richard Hanna spoke to WIBX on Monday, elaborating on why he's publicly crossing party lines to back the Democratic presidential candidate, not his own party's nominee, Donald Trump.

"If you look at Trump, he borders on unstable. He's erratic, he lashes out at people in ways that are profoundly over the top," Hanna told WIBX, saying that he still has "deep" disagreements with Clinton, but still thought she was the better choice.

Hanna also characterized his decision as a "generational opportunity to do the right thing," while acknowledging that he takes no pleasure in disappointing many republicans who've supported him for years.
