Update: Sadly, due to the warm spurt that's hit central New York, we've had to cancel our Heart of Winter ride. We ask anyone who planned to participate in the event to support that annual WIBX Slocum Dickson Heart Radiothon, Friday and Saturday March 3rd and 4th, 2017.

WIBX 950 is happy to announce the second annual Heart of Winter Snowmobile Ride to benefit the American Heart Association. The ride will start at 10 am on Friday, February 24th at the Holland Patent Legion parking lot. We will ride from there to the Gone Coastal Restaurant in Lee Center. Once there, we enjoy a short program from our friends at the Heart Association and delicious lunch from our hosts Bob and Diane Griffin. After lunch we will ride back to Holland Patent. Our caravan will be escorted by the Oneida County Sheriff's Snowmobile Patrol as we travel through some of the best groomed trails in New York. We hope you will join us and support this unique event to benefit a great cause. The minimum donation to ride is only $25.

Again, all the money we raise will benefit America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk Weekend in Utica. This is not only a chance to enjoy a great ride on some of the wonderfully groomed snowmobile trails in CNY, but also another way to participate in one of the Utica area's biggest community events.
We invite all snowmobilers to join us for a great ride! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Ed Welsh at 315-797-6129.
