Jimmie Johnson Takes Darlington; Hendricks Gets Win 200

Jimmie Johnson picked up his first win of the 2012 season, but the 200th Cup Series win for Hendrick Motorsports, as the No. 48 held off Denny Hamlin and Tony Stewart on Saturday night to win the Bojangles' Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.

Johnson got his eighth top 10 finish of the year, jumping three spots to fifth in the standings (-39).

There was much excitement on the night as well due to the presence of Danica Patrick for the second time this year. Patrick ran the whole race, finishing in 31st. Full Results.

Greg Biffle came in 12th as his points lead shrunk to 2, over Matt Kenseth, who drove 6th - Full Cup Standings.
