In the sports world, Thanksgiving is reserved for football.

But, NBA star Kevin Love did something on Thanksgiving Eve that will have many discussing basketball at the dinner table today.

Love scored an insane and record setting 34-points in the first quarter on Wednesday, helping lead the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers to a 137-125 win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Love big quarter included going 8-of-10 from 3-point range. He finished with 40 points for the game.
