A Little Falls man has been sentenced to five years in prison for distributing child pornography.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says 54-year old Eric Jaquays admitted that from December of 2014 to December of 2015, he used the internet and a peer-to-peer file sharing program to distribute 27 video files containing child porn.

Judge David Hurd also imposed a five-year term of supervised release, which will start after Jaquays is released from prison.

As a result of his conviction, Jaquays will also be required to register as a sex offender after leaving prison.
