Local ‘Feed Our Vets’ Gets National Boost

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Veterans in Utica are receiving help from an unlikely location – Seattle.

The Greater Good Network, based in Washington state, announced yesterday that the Feed Our Veterans food pantry will receive money from a newly-built fundraising website.

The Veterans Site dot com allows people to donate money by simply clicking a button. Sponsoring advertisers then pay for meals for homeless veterans.

Since 1999, the Greater Good Network has helped donate more than $20-million worldwide through its group of charity websites, www.greatergood.org
