Man Killed in Florence Crash

A 26 year old man was killed when a pick up went off the road and struck a tree in Florence.

State Police say Jared Platt lost control of his truck on Osceola Road at around 1:00 a.m. Saturday morning. His passenger, Kyle Platt, was killed in the crash. Jared Platt was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse in stable condition, police said.

The investigation into the accident is continuing.
