It's a milestone for Griffiss International Airport in Rome.

Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente says the one-millionth gallon of fuel was sold at the airport this year.

Picente says this is the first time Griffiss has sold one-million gallons of fuel and the county has met the goal ahead of projections.

He credits the combined efforts of Million Air and the Griffiss Airport team for making the milestone possible.

Fuel has been dispensed in a variety of aircraft from Boeing 777's to an Airbus 319

Griffiss and Million Air also serviced Air Force One during a Presidential visit earlier this year.
