The latest victim of green paint vandalism is an organ inside the Bethlehem Chapel at the National Cathedral and on a statue outside of the Smithsonian Castle in Washington, D.C.

Built in 1855, the Smithsonian Castle is the first building to be a part of the Smithsonian Institution.  The statue that was vandalized is that of Joseph Henry, the first secretary of the Smithsonian.

A similar incident at the Lincoln Memorial forced its closure while cleaning crews scrubbed and made repairs last week.
