A North Syracuse man with more than a dozen suspensions of his driver's license was involved in a one car DWI crash in Verona, according to state police.

Lawrence Flansburg III, 36, lost control rounding a curve near Route 46 and Circle Drive in Verona on Saturday, December 20, 2014 and put his SUV in a ditch, a news release from New York State Police says.

A breath test showed Flansburg had a BAC of .17%

Troopers say a DMV check revealed 14 active suspensions on his license.

Flansburg was arraigned in the Town of Verona Court on the charges of DWI, Driving with a BAC of .08% or greater, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle in the Second Degree and failure to reduce speed for road conditions and remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond.

Troopers said Flansburg suffered minor injury and refused medical assistance at the scene.
