Oneida County Tourism is celebrating 30 years with a ribbon cutting ceremony at their new Welcome Center at Union Station.

It was incorporated as the Convention and Visitors Bureau for Oneida County on February 17th, 1984.

Over 195,000 people visiit Union Station each year and President Kelly Blazosky says it's the perfect location for a new welcome center.

The Union Station Welcome Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 4:30.

The bureau's Welcome Center at Exit 31 on the Thruway will remain open seven days a week.

While you're there, you can pick up a copy of the 2014 Oneida County Travel Guide, which is now available.
