The 2011 Major League Baseball Season Opens today with the Yankees in action at the Stadium.CC Sabathia and the Yankees will hit the field this afternoon against the visiting Detroit Tigers, weather permitting of course as the crazy March weather continues.
Also in the American League, the LA Angels are in Kansas City, plus there are 4 National League games on the schedule. The Mets open the season Friday night in Florida against the Marlins, Mike Pelfrey will start for the Mets.
