President Barack Obama is addressing many issues at today's news conference, including the situation with North Korea.

Obama says that he believes that Sony Pictures made a mistake pulling "The Interview" from theatres around the country in response to the threat of terrorism posed by North Korea.  He said that the fact that North Korea wages a war against a country because of a satirical movie starring Seth Rogen and James Franco is absurd.

He says that they have had no confirmation that North Korea is acting in conjunction with China or any other country.

He said that it is important for his administration to work with Congress.  He says that attacks, such as the latest threat from North Korea, could pose a problem for the United States economy.

He says that the U.S. faces increasing pressure to remain competitive in the global economy.  That includes a renewed focus on infrastructure.

Regarding Cuba he says that he shares the concerns of dissidents and human rights activists, and acknowledges the fact that human rights there are violated.  President Obama says, "Suddenly Cuba is open to the world in ways it hasn't been before."
