Rome Homicide Victim Identified

The name of the man who was shot and killed on Stevens Street in Rome has been released.

Rome Police say 32-year old Jason Oates, who also used the alias "Clutch", was originally from Madison, Alabama.

They say Oates frequently traveled between Alabama and the Rome area over the past few years and was living on the 300 block of Williams Street.

The search for a suspect in the shooting continues.
