Rome, NY 3-Year-Old On TLC’s Toddlers & Tiaras

A three-year-old from Rome, NY is appearing on TLC's Toddlers & Tiaras.

Ashley Bird joined WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning to talk about her daughter, Brooklyn's, appearance on the show this week.

'We're new to the 'glitz' world,' Ashley said. 'We usually do natural pageant,' - eplaining the 'glitz' world refers to pageants with spray tans and makeup, etc.

'We sent in just a self-IPone video to the prodcuers. [Brooklyn] is just very real and funny of personality...she's just a crazy 3-year-old.'

'The filmed us at our house, getting ready for the pageant a couple of days before. Then, the filmed us at the pageant, and then crowning [ceremonies.,' Ashley said.

Are you worried that on a reality show they may twist and 'manuever' things?

'Yes, I am a little worried about how they're gonna spin things off. I hope they don't make me look bad because we are good people,' she said.
