Should social commentary sites, like Topix, continue to allow people to post anonymously?

Those who support such sites say that it is the anonymity that makes the sites so great.  Critics say the lack of accountability encourages people to say things that are - at best, mean and at worst completely untrue and hurtful.

If people are allowed to say whatever they want, about anyone or anything, should they have to reveal their identity?  Comment on our Facebook page and vote in today's Question of the Day:
