The New York Knicks may be without Amar'e Stoudemire for Game 3, or longer after he punched the glass casing of a fire extinguisher at AmericanAirlines Arena following Monday night's loss to the Heat.

Reports indicate Stoudemire required more than a dozen stitches to the cuts to his hands from the shattered glass.

While the Knicks website has made no mention of the news, various media outlets are crediting sources with various bits of information: 'Stat' will miss Game 3 on Thursday, could be out for the series, or possibly the rest of the season, if the Knicks were to somehow comeback to win their series with Miami.
