Syracuse Is NCAA Tournament East Region No. 1

The Syracuse Orange have the top seed in the NCAA Tournament's East Region and will play NC-Asheville second round action on Thursday.

'Cuse (31-2) is coming off a loss in the Big East Tournament to Cincinnait, who has the East bracket's No. 6 seed. Ohio St. (2), Florida St.(3) and Wisconsin (4) have the other top spots in the East.

Kentucky, North Carolina and Michigan St. are the other No. 1 seeds.
