Heath Kufahl and his wife were at an Oklahoma City Thunder game and were picked to compete at halftime against another couple for a chance to win $20,000. Well, in the first round, Heath and his wife made more shots than the other couple. Beating that couple is what gave Heath the chance at the half-court shot.

As teams complete their regular seasons with hopes of being selected to the 68-team NCAA tournament field, national player of the year candidates are polishing their resumes for consideration.
