BALTIMORE (AP) — Fans at the Baltimore Orioles-Boston Red Sox baseball game were briefly asked to stay inside the stadium toward the end of the game after a small group of Freddie Gray protesters became violent.
It's the second time he's been accused of using pine tar this season. But, this time Boston caught before it was gone, pointing it out to the umpire and ultimately leading to Michael Pineda's ejection from Wednesday's Yankees - Red Sox game at Fenway Park.
Michael Pineda's first start in the Bronx came more than two years after he was acquired by the Yankees but it resulted in his first win with the team, a 4-1 triumph over the rival Red Sox in the first game of four.
