Week six is here in the college football season, and we’ve got another slate of great games this week, highlighted by the Red River Rivalry in Dallas, a pair of ranked-team matchups in the SEC and some very important conference games.  Here are the highlights for this week’s top 25 teams.

Three suspended Ohio State football players, expecting to be reinstated in time for this week’s game at Nebraska, will instead miss the key Big Ten contest after the university extended their suspensions on Monday for additional NCAA infractions.

Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck has heard of lot of comparisons to Peyton Manning during his time under center for the Cardinal. But now he has another fact in common with the Colts’ injured superstar that is rare in the NFL and almost unheard of in college. Like Manning, Luck is now calling his own plays.

The top seven ranked teams asserted their dominance in week five as each rolled to convincing victories. Meanwhile eight ranked teams suffered losses as the list of undefeated teams was trimmed.

After weeks of rumors, Texas A&M is set to leave the Big 12 and to join the SEC, the league said on Sunday. The move will go into effect next July. “We are excited to begin competition in the nation’s premier athletic conference,” Texas A&M President R. Bowen Loftin said in a statement.
