Today Is Election Day

The campaigning is over and it's time for the voters to have their say.

Today is Election Day.

Seats are up for grabs on the Utica and Rome Common Councils and the Oneida County Board of Legislators

There are also races for Utica Comptroller and Oneida County Family Court Judge.  And there are many Village and Town races as well.

Here are today's ballots in Oneida County and Herkimer County.

New Yorkers will decide at the polls today whether elected officials should lose their pensions if convicted of a felony connected to their public duties.  Another big question statewide is whether New Yorkers will decide to call a convention to look at changing the state's constitution

If you are having problems or see something wrong at the polls in New York this Election Day, there's a number you can call.  New York State residents can dial the state attorney general's hotline number at 1-800-771-7755.   There will be staff members from the AG's office ready to assist.  .

Polls are open until 9:00.
