Utica, NY (WIBX) - An early morning domestic dispute led to the arrest of a suspect accused of violently attacking his girlfriend and threatening her with a knife. Utica Police say the victim reported that 36-year-old Carl Johnson of Miller Street, punched, slapped and pulled her hair during an argument around 12:10 this morning. Johnson is also accused of pushing the victim into a wall, flattening the tires of her car with a knife, and threatened to kill her with the weapon.

Johnson is charged with, 2nd degree Menacing - a misdemeanor, 4th degree Criminal Mischief-a misdemeanor, and 2nd degree Harassment - a violation.
