Utica Police Make Arrest In Andes Avenue Shooting

Utica Police have made an arrest in a shooting that happened last night.

37-year old Henry Caban of Utica is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Officers found a man on Andes Avenue with several gunshot wounds to his leg at around 11:00 last night.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, police are continuing to investigative another shooting that took place Tuesday night.

A man involved in an accident at Steuben and Pleasant Streets was found inside his car suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
