Wednesday Morning Travel Advisory For Utica

The New York State Department of Transportation has issued a Travel Advisory for Wednesday morning in Utica.

The DOT says from 10:30 to 11:30, motorists traveling on the North-South Arterial will encounter a traffic stoppage between Noyes Street and Oriskany Street in both directions.

The stoppage is necessary so crews can erect the new overhead sign structure truss.

The entire operation is expected to be completed within 8 to 10 minutes.

Motorists are urged to use alternate routes to avoid travel delays.
