A listener named Kay, from the Valley, asked this question:

"Could you please ask Congressman Richard Hanna why Legislators authorized the purchase of 30,000 guillotines which are being stored in key states across the country?"

What are they for?  Who are they for and why is it being kept secret?

I really feel it's my duty to dig into stories like these, no matter how odd they might seem; so, before confronting the Congressman, I did some investigating.

It turns out, this is a story that isn't true and it has been circulating for quite some time.

Currently, it's being spread through social media and via the internet by an anti- Muslim publication which refers to FEMA concentration camps.

The website Snopes.com, which investigates and does in-depth fact checks on urban legends and stories like these, claims that this one is absolutely false, just recycled "junk in a different package."

The story first surfaced back in 2008 during the George W. Bush Presidency by a group warning people of the "New World Order" - the reinvented version recently resurfaced this summer through social media, with altered details.
