Woman Hit By Vehicle In Utica

A woman was injured when she was struck by a vehicle on the 1600 block of Miller Street in Utica just before 11:30 Thursday night.

Utica Police say after the vehicle hit the woman, it crashed into a light pole, with the transformer coming down on the vehicle.

Police say the driver fled the scene after the collision.

The woman who was hit suffered numerous injuries, but they did not appear to be life threatening.
