Annual Celebrity Wheelchair Classic Returns On Thursday

Utica, NY (WIBX) – It’s nearly tip-off time.  The 10th annual Sitrin Celebrity Classic Wheelchair Basketball Game is taking place this Thursday night at 6:30 at Utica College.

A team of local celebrities will be taking on the Sitrin STARS in a game of wheelchair basketball.

Highlighting this year’s celebrity team will be Syracuse University basketball star Kris Joseph, Olympian and World Luge Champion Erin Hamlin and UFC fighter Matt “The Hammer” Hamill.

Tickets for the event are $7 for adults, $3 for students and children under five are free.

Tickets will be available at the door.

Proceeds will benefit the adaptive sports programs at Sitrin.
